🇨🇩 How tax works
in Democratic Republic of the Congo.

2026 · National income tax guide

The calculation, explained.

Annual employment IPR uses four bands and is capped at 30% of taxable salary.

Social contributions, personal deductions, special casual-worker/termination rates and employer-paid expatriate tax are excluded. IPR is a salary calculation, not a clinic turnover tax.

Doctors: employment and independent practice

The Democratic Republic of the Congo comparison is an ordinary resident employment scenario. We have not yet verified a doctor-specific independent-practice regime for this country. Do not apply Indonesia’s NPPN 50% here or enter clinic turnover as salary. Practice deductions, professional contributions and mixed income require additional local research.
