🇫🇯 How tax works
in Fiji.
2024 onwards (still current for 2026) · National income tax guide
The calculation, explained.
FRCS resident individual income-tax rates from tax year 2024 onwards (unchanged until amended): nil to FJD 30,000, then progressive rates to 39% above FJD 1,000,000.
PAYE is generally a final withholding for single-employment residents. Non-resident schedule differs.
Doctors: employment and independent practice
The Fiji comparison is an ordinary resident employment scenario. We have not yet verified a doctor-specific independent-practice regime for this country. Do not apply Indonesia’s NPPN 50% here or enter clinic turnover as salary. Practice deductions, professional contributions and mixed income require additional local research.
Tax brackets · FJD
Each rate applies only to the income inside that band.
