🇰🇬 How tax works
in Kyrgyzstan.
2026 (Tax Code Art. 197) · National income tax guide
The calculation, explained.
General personal income tax rate is a flat 10% under Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic Art. 197 (as amended through 2026).
Preferential employment rates (5%, or 1% for certain garment/textile workers through 2030) and ride-hailing temporary rates are excluded.
Doctors: employment and independent practice
The Kyrgyzstan comparison is an ordinary resident employment scenario. We have not yet verified a doctor-specific independent-practice regime for this country. Do not apply Indonesia’s NPPN 50% here or enter clinic turnover as salary. Practice deductions, professional contributions and mixed income require additional local research.
