🇲🇨 How tax works
in Monaco.
2026 · National income tax guide
The calculation, explained.
Monaco levies no personal income tax on employment salary for Monegasque nationals and non-French residents genuinely established in the Principality.
French nationals remain taxable in France under the 1963 France–Monaco convention. Business-profits tax, social charges and foreign-country obligations are excluded.
Doctors: employment and independent practice
The Monaco comparison is an ordinary resident employment scenario. We have not yet verified a doctor-specific independent-practice regime for this country. Do not apply Indonesia’s NPPN 50% here or enter clinic turnover as salary. Practice deductions, professional contributions and mixed income require additional local research.
