🇺🇾 How tax works
in Uruguay.
2025 published single-person schedule · National income tax guide
The calculation, explained.
This model reproduces the single-employee annual IRPF scale explicitly dated 31 December 2025 in the linked source.
The single-person 2026 indexed thresholds have not been verified here. Contributions, deduction credits, family-unit assessment and foreign-income exceptions are excluded. Do not treat these 2025 thresholds as 2026 payroll.
Doctors: employment and independent practice
The Uruguay comparison is an ordinary resident employment scenario. We have not yet verified a doctor-specific independent-practice regime for this country. Do not apply Indonesia’s NPPN 50% here or enter clinic turnover as salary. Practice deductions, professional contributions and mixed income require additional local research.
