🇰🇲 How tax works
in Comoros.

CGI 2023 Art. 47 / Art. 97 · National income tax guide

The calculation, explained.

CGI Art. 97 progressive IRPP with Art. 47 nil band to KMF 150,000: then 5%/10%/15%/20%/25%/30% above KMF 3,500,000.

Salary taxable base is after limited pension/social deductions (cap 6% of gross) and the standard 30% professional-expense deduction; those are not auto-applied here.

Doctors: employment and independent practice

The Comoros comparison is an ordinary resident employment scenario. We have not yet verified a doctor-specific independent-practice regime for this country. Do not apply Indonesia’s NPPN 50% here or enter clinic turnover as salary. Practice deductions, professional contributions and mixed income require additional local research.
